OUR REUNION ACTIVITIES

Tuesday, September 24th, 2019

We checked into the Crowne Plaza Cleveland South, registered for the reunion and picked up our name badges and welcome bags.
We then stopped by the USASAE Hospitality Suite to reacquaint with each other once again then proceeded to dinner
at one of many dining choices near the hotel.  After dinner
we gathered at our Hospitality Suite for drinks, visiting, sharing pictures,
war stories; and discussing life and careers after Frankfurt

Wednesday September 25th, 2019

After breakfast at the hotel we departed for a Land & Sea Tour via Lolly the Trolley and the Nautica Queen Cruise ship.
After a short ride into Cleveland, we boarded the Nautica Queen Cruise Ship to enjoy a 2-hour Lake & River cruise
which included an unlimited hot buffet lunch.   After our 2-hour lunch cruise,
we again boarded the Lolly the Trolley for the  land portion of the tour.
The tour was a fun and fact filled 2-Hour City Sightseeing Tour revealing Cleveland’s past, present and future.

The fully narrated tour included Downtown, North Coast Harbor, the Flats, the Warehouse District,
Ohio City and the West Side Market, the Gateway Sports area, Playhouse Square, University Circle and the Cultural Gardens.

In the evening we had a group reservation for dinner at Cleveland’s Hofbräuhaus,
which was modeled after the legendary 400+ year-old Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany.
There we were able to enjoy the traditionally decorated rooms, the beer that is brewed on-site,
and of course the excellent German fare which featured traditional Bavarian dishes.

Thursday, September 26th, 2019

After breakfast in the hotel we departed for a Tour of Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,
the world's foremost museum devoted to the celebration and preservation of rock & roll music.
This was a self-guided tour and most spent at least  2 to 4 hours visiting the main exhibits.
After visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we were free to do some independent sightseeing at nearby venues.

In the evening we gathered for drinks and our catered plated Reunion Dinner Banquet in the hotel.
After dinner we gathered in the hospitality suite for drinks, visiting, sharing pictures,
war stories; and discussing life and careers after Frankfurt.
